A HEROE FOR FREEDOM ,A FIGHTER FOR DEMOCRACY IN CUBA HAS DIED.

UNE HEROINE  DE LA LIBERTE

A HEROE FOR  FREEDOM ,A FIGHTER
FOR DEMOCRACY IN CUBA HAS DIED.

UNA HEROINA DE LA LIBERTAD  HA MUERTO.

Once again the cubans in exile and the dissidents groups  -- in Castro's gulag -- who for 50 or more yrs have opposed to the criminal and anticuban regime of the Castros  have to suffer the lost  of one of the most outstanding figures within the dissident movement  in Cuba.

Her  name has not been yet  in the news as the events that are taking place in many of its main cities around the world have taken the first  priority in the Medias , but this death has more than one meaning in the struggle that  for a half century the cuban people have been waging against that dictatorship.

The Mass Medias should -- by the bias of their  journalists-- do a service to Democracy and Freedom
in taking  Laura Pollan's name to the same front pages  of newspapers and in the news by TV in the same level  of  status as they do for those protestors against capitalism.

Because Laura Pollan have fought against  the unfairness and the violations of Human Rights in Cuba
and has suffer repression ,beatings and all kinds of humiliations at the hands of Castro's political and repressive dogs without ever quitting or letting herself be intimidated ,she should take a place of honor in the news that are reported
in the news during these last few weeks.

The least the  medias could do is to mention her decess and  since this death is some what suspitious  the  journalists should investigate the case as much as it
could be possible.

Laura Pollan has died , but within the cuban dissidence and the exile community there is a feeling that her death was not due to natural or pathological causes but induced by the regimes Security agents while she was wrestling  with several  of those sbirres during a manifestation.
Laura Pollan was one  of those  women with enough courage to fight back the unjust regime and to create a dissidence group with high credibility and ample support in and outside of Castro's gulag. If the Ladies in White group has been nominated and granted the Sajarov Prize is because of  this heroine that we all have learn ed to love and carry in a special place in our hearts.

Finally , I  just want to say good bye and honor a true heroine and brave cuban woman whose husband was "sentenced" to 20 yrs in jail for the only "crime" of being a dissident and signing a document with 75  other  dissidents.
Might God let  Laura Pollan  Rest in Peace in His Eternal Glory .
