El sufrimiento no es en vano, aseguró el Papa esta Semana Santa. Pero el saberlo,no alivia a muchos por completo el dolor.

En varios de mis Apuntes he tratado de transmitir los comentarios que me llegan de personas que sufren y de los que se preguntan el por qué de dolores y calamidades en el mundo.

Los creyentes tienen la palabra de Dios para aliviar las angustias que se experimentan frente a enfermedades y accidentes producidos por fenómenos de la naturaleza.

El Papa Benedicto XVI respondió a una pequeña -en un intercambio sin precedente que sostuvo por televisión- que los sufrimientos no son en vano, cuando la niña le preguntó la razón del terremoto y sunami que devastó su país natal El Pontífice respondió el viernes preguntas planteadas por el público en una presentación que difundió la televisión estatal italiana.

El Viernes Santo es un día solemne para los cristianos por conmemorar el sufrimiento y crucifixión de Jesucristo.

La mayoría de los interrogantes fueron sobre el sufrimiento. La primera pregunta fue hecha por Elena, una niña japonesa, quien le expuso al Papa que muchos niños de su edad habían muerto y le preguntó el por qué de las circunstancias que provocaron ese dolor y esas muertes El Papa respondió que se hace la misma pregunta, como muchos en el mundo, pero que el sufrimiento forma parte de un “buen plan” de amor de Dios.

También el Pontífice denunció la mentira y a quienes la usan para enmascarar la verdad...
Y tiene razón, la mentira, tantas veces empleada como recurso por algunos gobernantes para ocultar la verdad de sus designios, aumenta el sufrimiento de los pueblos.

Los fenómenos de la naturaleza son impredecibles y como tales hay que resignarse ante ellos, lo mismo los males físicos.
Pero el Sufrimiento Provocado es el que no se debe aceptar:
El hambre, cárcel y privación de la libertad plena, junto al embuste diario de los que tienen el poder, es algo que debe ser rechazado como plaga impuesta por el Hombre y no por Dios.

The Rev. Franklin Graham says he wonders why President Barack Obama has avoided producing his birth certificate, according to Politico. Graham also told Christiane Amanpour on ABC’s "This Week" that the president "has some issues to deal with" when it comes to proving he was born in the United States.

"He can solve this whole birth certificate issue pretty quickly," Graham said. "I was born in a hospital in Asheville, North Carolina. And I know that my records are there, you can probably go and find out what room my mother was in when I was born. I don’t know why he can’t produce that. It's an issue it looks like he can answer pretty quickly."

Graham, who has prayed with Obama, said the president has told him that he’s a Christian, but allowed that "there are many people that do wonder where he really stands on" his religion.


Nobody is above the law !

You can fool some of the people some of the time,

but you can't fool all the American people all the time !

Date: Monday, January 10, 2011, 8:28 PM    Santa Fe, La Habana, 17 de junio de 2010, (PD) Durante los primeros 30 años de Revolución Cubana, todo aquel que quería comprar una lata de carne rusa, de col rellena búlgara, de perros calientes, zapatos, ropa (aunque de pésima calidad) en vez de acudir a un establecimiento comercial, todos propiedad estatal y vacíos, tomaba un ómnibus, se bajaba en el barrio de los rusos en Alamar, reparto compuesto de edificios de apartamentos construidos por el régimen al este de la capital habanera y tocaba a la puerta de una rusa. Allí, pero en modernas e independientes residencias, vivían decenas de rusas casadas con militares o dirigentes políticos o profesionales cubanos. Cuando ellos no estaban en sus viviendas, las rusas se convertían en expertas vendedoras de vituallas por buenas sumas de dinero. La venta de estos productos que venían directamente de la extinta Unión Soviética o de otros países ex socialistas, no sólo se realizaba en Alamar, sino en cualquier otra vivienda ocupada por estas parejas que gozaban de un nivel de vida mucho mejor que el de un pueblo necesitado de tantas cosas para vivir. Hoy, todo ha cambiado. No sólo el socialismo del este europeo desapareció como el globo de Matías Pérez, sino también los matrimonios de cubanos con rusas, búlgaras, checoslovacas, polacas, etc. Muchos cubanos que trabajaron, estudiaron o simplemente visitaron esos países, trajeron, además de sus maletas, a exóticas esposas extranjeras, que nada sabían de Cuba ni de nuestro idioma. Según cifras de la embajada rusa en La Habana, en Cuba han quedado unas cien mujeres nativas de ese país -eran miles-, casi todas divorciadas de sus maridos cubanos, unas con hijos y nietos, y otras, en la calle y sin llavín. Como nadie les envía artículos industriales para vender, viven como pueden, posiblemente peor que cualquier cubano de a pie. En primer lugar porque se han convertido en ancianas que ni siquiera reciben una jubilación decorosa. Mima Rovenskaya, más conocida como ¨ la rusa de Baracoa ¨, que huyó del comunismo en 1917, tuvo mejor suerte. Se hizo de un hotel en esa ciudad oriental y vivió bien hasta el final de sus días. Otra rusa que reside en el barrio chino de La Habana, conocida como Tatiana, de unos sesenta años, casada por segunda vez con un descendiente de chino y sin hijos, deambula por las calles habaneras como muchas otras, siempre en busca de un plato de comida caliente. Se dedica a indicarle buenos lugares para comer a turistas extranjeros o vender a sobreprecio productos que sólo se venden en divisas. Pero el caso más doloroso es lo ocurrido en el año 2007 a Elena Varelevna Verselova, una rusa de 41 años que fue deportada a su país por presidir una organización del Movimiento de Derechos Humanos, a pesar de haber vivido durante veinte años en el municipio Isla de la Juventud, donde dejó a sus dos hijas, Diana y Dora Aguilar. Lo más lamentable de esta historia es que la embajada rusa no ayuda económicamente a estas mujeres ni les brinda protección alguna ante arbitrariedades como la señalada, algo que demuestra que son muy distintos a los españoles, quienes se han agrupado en asociaciones con el fin de recibir no solo solidaridad y calor humano, sino además alimentos. Las rusas, en cambio, andan desperdigadas, como a la deriva. Sin amparo alguno. Desearían regresar a su tierra natal, pero no pueden. Carecen de medios para sufragar los gastos del viaje y sobre todo, han perdido sus vínculos con el país natal. Alguien que las conoce bien me dice que fueron estas mujeres rusas quienes enseñaron al cubano a inventar bajo el socialismo. Es posible que sea cierto. La venta de productos industriales de forma ilegal fue puesta en práctica por primera vez en la isla gracias a ellas, tratando de sobrevivir a la dura realidad cubana y liberadas seguramente del romanticismo político. EJEMPLO TRES : LA DIASPORA  JUDIA DE CANADA ENVIA CADA ANIO  ALIMENTOS Y OTROS MENESTERES A SUS CONGENERES DE CUBA, DONDE  ESTOS  PRODUCTOS NO EXISTEN HOY DIA.

HACE DOS DECADAS O ALGO MAS , SACO DE ETIOPIA A TODOS LOS  ETIOPES DE ASCENDENCIA ISRAELITA ATENDIENDO A TODAS LAS NECESIDADES DE ESOS ETIOPES  JUDIOS.

ON SARAH PALIN OF AMERICA A MUST TO READ.
A VIEW FROM ALASKA
by Dewey Whetsell The last forty five yrs. of my sixty six yrs. I 've  spent in a commercial fishing town of Alaska. I understand  Alaskapolitics but never understood national politics well until  this last year. Here's the breaking point : Neither side of the Palin controversy gets it.
It's not about p[ersons,style,rethorics, it's about doing things. Even Plain supporters never mention the things that  I am about tomention here.
1.- Democrats forget when Palin was the Darling of the Democrats, because as soon as Palin took the governor's office away from a fellow Republican and though SOB, Frank Murkowsky, she tore into the Republicans' Corrupt Bastards Club ( CBC) and sent it packing . Many of its members are now residing in State housing  and wearing orange suits. The Democrats reacted by skipping around the yard, throwing confetti, and singing    "La,la,la, la" ( well you know how they are )
Name another governor in this country who has ever done anything similar . but while you are tinking, I'll continue.

2.-Now, with the CBC gone, there were fewer Alaska politicians to protect the giant oil companies here. So Palin constructed and enacted a New System of Splitting the oil profits called "ACES"  EXXON mOBIL  (the biggest corporation in the world protested, and Sarah told it, " Don't let the door hit you in the stern on your way out." It stayed, and Alaska  residents went from being merely wealthy to being filthy rich. Of course , the other huge international oil companies fell  meekly into line. Again, give me the  name of any other governor in the country who has done anything similar.

3.- The  other thing  she did when she walked into the  governor's office is that she got  the list of state requests for federal funding for projects known as "pork" . She went  through the list took 85 % percent  of them out, and placed them in the  "when-hell-freezes-over" stack. She let the locals know that if we need something built, we we'll pay for it ourselves.Maybe she figured out  she could use the money she got  from selling  the previous governor's  jet because it was extravagant.Maybe she could cook ( remarking that she could cook for her own family), giving back the state vehicle issued to her ( maintaining that she already had a car ), and dismissing her state-provided security force ( never mentioning --I imagine -- that she was packing "heat" herself ). I"m still waiting to hear the names of those other governors who have done  the same.

4.-  Even with her much-ridiculed "gosh and golly" manerisms , she manageged to put together a totally new approach to getting a natural gas pipeline built that will be the biggest private construction project in the history
of North America. No one else could do it even if they tried. If that doesn't impress youy, you're trying to hard to be unimpressed while watching her do things like this while baking up a bunch of brownies with her other hand.
5.-
For thirty years Exxon held a lease to do exploratory drilling a a place called Point Thompson. It made excuses the entire time for  why it couldn't start drilling. In truth it was holding it as an investment.No governor for thirty years could make it get started. This summer ,she told EXXON she was revoking its lease and kickingit out . It protested and threatened court action.She shrugged and reminded them that she knew the way to the courthouse.ALASKA WON AGAIN !

6.- Pres. Obama wants  the nation to be on 25 % percent renewable resources  for electricity by 2025.Sarah Palin went tothe legislature and submitted her plan for Alaska to be at 50% percent renewable by 2025. We are already at 25 % percent.
I can give you more specifics about  things done as  opposed to style and personal. Everybody wants to be cool, sound cool, look cool, .But  that's just a cover -up.
I'm still waiting to hear from  liberals the names of other governors who can match what mine has done in two and a half years.I won't be holding my breath.
By the  way, she was content toreturn to Alaska after the national election and  go to work, but the haters wouldn't let hher.
Now ,these adolescent screeches are obviuosly not scuba divers
And no one ever told them what happens when you continually jab and pester a barracuda. Without warning it will spin around and tear your face off.shoulda known better... DEWEY WHETSELLALASKA , USA

All my sympathies are on the side one  think is best for this great country.
So I side and sympathize with Sarah of America Palin.

And I discovered  during the last  presidential campaign ,the two candidates that came forward as actual players in the current American politics: Sarah Palin and B. Hussein Obama.

Seeing no halt in  demonizing Bush and then Sarah and of course McCain, by the
mass media's journalists, with most of them tending always to the left, my immediate reaction and fair, but  honest stand was  to condemn or belittle the slanderers, liars and twisters , as I and many people  saw them  during their rants against the Republican candidates .

That injustice and even abuse of a certain "power" ,based on lies and misrepresentations against Sarah Palin, justified my  taking side with Sarah Palin ,and to  seek to know more about this extraordinary woman.
Today I think, with much more certainty that I was right to rely on my instinctive sympathy for Sarah Palin.
I bought the book she wrote and I've discovered much more about this  Sra.  Palin, as well as her trajectory-career in American policy.
 I've seen  that  she has  always look forward or  sought to serve, assist and defend their fellow citizens, regardless of her own personal interest.
 Sarah Palin, is an idealist, but her idealism no one should confused with a lack of pragmatism. Her vision and foresight in general and in the philosophical is added to her experience in Alaska's politics, which are more than sufficient credentials to prove it to everyone who  she is and what  is her Curriculum Vita if any one try to pull that into a question.

Republicans today are labeled right-wing or right wing, however, before, in Lincoln's time, Republicans were today's liberals.
If - in Sarah Palin and what she  expresses and is contained in her political philosophy - can be defined as right-wing or ultra-conservative, then: Hurray for Sarah Palin and her ideals of serving her people and the most elevated or patriotic interests of that  land.

Comparing her Curriculum Vitae, with  that of Mr. Obama, we see that Mr. Obama does not have anything comparable to what Sarah Palin has in hers... and that  he or his party and the Medias can't , deny her that  point as neither, can her own party's rivals.

Her ( Sarah's) CV is in Alaska, is in the thousands of her fellow citizens of this state of the nation.
For they  know what she accomplished for them and their state.
Sarah is a conservative, right wing, which went against big business, or the most powerful oil corporations in the country and the world. Yet  she put them to their  "knees" and told them the way out the door of her office ... when she was governor.
That was when discussing the future of the concessions in the lease of the oilfields,and  were required to start them to produce  or their licenses and rights would be canceled .
She made them pay the taxes and dividends for the people of Alaska, or citizens of that State,
 for their profits with the precious black gold.
Yes! ... This conservative is Sarah Palin ,this rightist , went against the powerful, rich Oil Corpotations
 to  defends the people or the citizens of Alaska State. ... and that ...without being leftist or socialist .!!!!
Compare it, to what the leftists and liberaloides of the opposite party have done in their careers. And here we should see  what is much more invention and sale of labels than truth and honesty,by that mass medias and the rivals , when referring to Sarah Palin of America.

I see - now --- danger for Sarah, for there are  ambitions  behind much of the Democrats, and more specifically in Obama,  and they will try something unprecedented in the history of the United States of America against Sarah Palin.
NOTE WELL AND REMEMBER THIS COMMENT of MINE  TODAY!

Therefore I would advise just  the same  to Sarah Palin:   Wait don't rush to the next elections...wait  yet for the next time to be the Presidential  candidate.
She must wait until his party was restored and consolidated in the esteem and supported by a good majority of  the American people.

Hay días, en que algunas puertas gimen
y en las ventanas se corren las cortinas
para que la visión que se proyecta
no se vea y así no hiera ni lastime.

La necesidad de cada cual es incierta
la súplica callada queda muerta,
es mejor no ver ni oir a los dolientes
y así pensar que la realidad no es cierta.

Más aún si está encerrado injustamente
ahí, nadie desea echarse la carga encima
es mejor ignorar el dolor que atenuarlo
y dejar al necesitado a la deriva.

Si por fin se incorpora aquel hermano
y logra de algun modo cruzar la reja
entonces la desidia sí se aleja
y se vuelve a saludar
al doliente estrechándole la mano.

.Una vez más invito a mis amigos blogueros a que nos unamos en una lucha que nos compete a todos los venezolanos y extranjeros, consciente de lo que significa la libertades; sobre todo los que usamos el Internet como medio para expresar nuestras ideas, nuestras inquietudes. Los que a diario denunciamos los atropellos de nuestros gobiernos, los atropellos de las autoridades que elegimos para darnos un país de justicia y de democracias y usan ese poder, dado por el pueblo, para consolidar sus proyectos individuales de poder.
Hoy los venezolanos vemos como un gobierno , apoyados por un sector militar corrupto y sin honor y diputados de una asamblea nacional de focas, se han propuesto aprobar leyes que cercena la libertad de expresión, la libertad de estar informados, aprobando un paquete de leyes que le dan al estado el poder de controlar la entrada a internet, creando un punto único, quitando así la pluralidad hoy existente, creando así un sistema parecido a los países, controlados como: la Corea comunista, China, Irán, Cuba. Países que bloquean toda la información, que ellos consideran que no deben ser del conocimiento del pueblo, el cual solo escucha las noticias que al gobierno le interesa, para si someterlos a un solo medio informativo acorde a los intereses del gobierno.
Pero en este paquete de leyes también se ve como de manera definitiva al cierre del único canal que mantiene una línea editorial en contra de este gobierno, dirigido por el dictador Hugo Chávez. El articulado que formula dicha ley limita las y a las trasmisiones solo en las áreas para donde fue otorgado el permiso, de trasmisiones por señal abierta, prohibiendo así que dicho canal pueda salir en los sistemas de cable o satelitales.
Por eso es que hoy le pido a mis amigos y compañeros blogueros que se una a esta campaña a favor de las libertades, que con este zarpazo definitivamente se perderán definitivamente en nuestra patria.
. La manera que lo puedes hacerlo es escribiendo un post que refleje la situación y citar este.
